At ELO, we believe every youth should have the chance to participate. That’s why we proudly partner with the non-profit Gamilah Unbridled. They provide scholarships for kids and help integrate rescue horses into our programs, guided by their beautiful motto: "We believe horses heal people better than people heal people."

Gamilah Unbridled has a passion to show that rescue horses can be phenomenal partners. They have completed several programs focused on showing the power of liberty and how it can transform some of the most challenging horses.

Why Rescues?
Helping Non-Ridden Horses Find Homes
Liberty is a wonderful fit for people who cannot or choose not to ride. Likewise, many horses—especially rescues—cannot be ridden and are often overlooked. We want to change that! We know every horse has a purpose. Through ELO, we are excited to give these special, non-ridden horses the chance to shine and display their unique talents, ultimately helping them find their perfect match and forever home.
Connecting Hearts: Kids and Rescue Horses
Gamilah Unbridled is dedicated to bringing the healing power of horses and liberty to kids who need it most, often through rescue horses. Just like some people, these horses have overcome challenges, allowing youth who have experienced struggles to connect and heal on a deeper, more relatable level.
We live by the belief: Horses heal people better than people heal people. We strive to give every kid and every horse the chance to connect and heal together!
Rescue Horses Are Not "Less Than"
Society often devalues rescues as not as talented and capable because they are many times not "well" bred, and raised horses with papers.

We wholeheartedly disagree. We've worked with some of the most challenging rescues horses in the country and have watched them transform into phenomenal riding and liberty partners.

We have a team of rescue horses that work together at liberty. Our goal is to showcase how capable these horse are and help more people look to rescues when they're ready for an equine partner.
