Bridleless Classes

ELO offers a variety of bridleless classes, ranging from Jumping to Ranch Riding. These classes are designed to align with discipline standards. 

 

At the ELO National level the Technical Maneuvers portion of the scoring for all discipline based classes will be judged by discipline specific judges and the Non-Technical Foundation portion of the scoring will be judged by a ELO/YELO accredited judges. The classes that are considered discipline based are: western dressage, dressage, ranch riding, and hunter equitation.

Teams Classes

The following classes are eligible for participation as a Liberty Team, defined as two or more horses working together at liberty on the ground. Selected classes and patterns from this list may be offered at various in-person and virtual shows with a designated “Team” division.​

The following classes from the Bridleless Classes section are eligible for participation as a Liberty Off a Ridden Horse Team. This team is defined as two or more horses working together, with one horse being ridden at all times and the remaining horse or horses working at liberty on the ground. Selected classes and patterns from this list may be offered at various in-person and virtual shows with a designated “Team” division.
